As VNG grows rapidly and contains complex business with multiple products and market segments, we are seeking a HRIS Manager with experience helping to transform HR information system (HRIS) for infinite scalability and globalization which supports diverse business needs & thousands of employees in day-to-day HR management activities in Vietnam and Overseas.

This position drives the vision, strategic objectives and tactics to automate & simplify HR processes, digitalize HR data & services in order to provide values to all employees, including management teams and HR functional teams.

The job holder ‘s responsibility will include (but not limited):

  • Understand business needs in day-to-day HR management activities to define, design, build & customize a proper HR information system
  • Analyze and review existing business processes, control, procedures and applications to develop innovative solutions that maximize efficiency and usability while ensuring all activities are in compliance with VNG policies along with local laws, regulations and ordinances
  • Evaluate current trends and emerging technologies in HR automated technologies and the capabilities of new features/products, for all human resources functions and how they may impact existing HR system
  • Manage the HRIS development and support process to prioritize and execute requests for changes and/or enhancements to HRIS
  • Ability to manage relationships to ensure accountability for delivering project milestones timely while continuingly seeking cost and process improvements
  • Assist/guide users as needed to enable them to more effectively utilize all HR systems/applications
  • Manage and develop HRIS team members, provides performance feedback for HRIS members


  • At least 5 years in the relevant position or working experience in designing & developing system/applications using open source frameworks which can fulfill complex business needs across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in developing ERP system, specializing in HR modules is a plus
  • Extensive experience building scalable systems
  • Change management and the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities with a track record of implementing results
  • Strong logical thinking and problem solving capability
  • High leadership skills to manage stakeholders and cooperate with key operational leaders
  • Desire to learn new technologies
  • Focus on customer satisfaction
  • And more importantly, the candidate should quickly understand the business in order to align business needs and HRIS transformations
