Job description

Senior Front End Engineer at ZaloPay build the interfaces to our promotions systems that reach millions of users. You will build the UI and front-end tools that power our promotions technologies, which can include scheduling systems, analytics, data visualizations, and so on.

With 5 different development squads, promotions projects range from a few weeks for R&D to large ongoing systems development. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills against a large number of use cases ranging from gaming to big data analytics and visualization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the React toolkit for creating frontend features
  • Create data visualization tools, user interfaces, libraries, and reusable code.
  • Write application interface code with JavaScript
  • Enhance application performance with constant monitoring
  • Translate wireframes and designs into good quality code
  • Optimize components to work seamlessly across different browsers and devices
  • Develop responsive web-based UI
  • Embrace automated QA with Jest or other libraries.


Required skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in React and 4 years in JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Familiar with latest react patterns such as React hooks.
  • Familiar with CSS, design systems such as Ant Design
  • Familiar with state management libraries such as redux, mobx.
  • Understanding of user authentication/authorization approaches such as JWTs
  • Strong desire to learn and grow all technical skills in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of image formats and optimization, and other techniques to shorten loading times.
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Interest/skill in BE technology especially Java or Golang.
  • Strong drive to use best practices such as TDD or BDD.
  • Desire for Silicon Valley development style – fast iterations and time to market, western management techniques, empowered teams.
