ZaloPay, Senior Backend Engineer (Core Payment, 22-PCP-0763)

This position belongs to our Core Payment, Internal Accounting team - which build a bunch of product to manage the cash move in and move out of ZaloPay Fund to ensure these are all correct, rational, and no fund-loss occurs.

We focus on building a system that can replace ZaloPay people doing the repetitive work with higher quality, thereby accelerating the ZaloPay operation, reducing cost, easy to expand the business, and satisfying our users and our business partner (bank, merchant).

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Analysis, design and build tools to support system operation, system monitoring, system quality indicators measurement report
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Write and maintain high-quality unit tests
• Research, assess, and adopt new technologies as required.

Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in backend development
• Proficiency in one of following programming languages: Java
• Strong experience with Java SE 8, Spring frameworks (Spring Core, SpringBoot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, String Cloud)
• Experience with Object-Oriented programming, OOP design patterns, and the SOLID principles, able to write well-structured, maintainable code.
• Good experience with unit testing: JUnit, Mock test, TestNG
• Strong experience with RESTful API and web application frameworks
• Good understanding of Relational databases (MySQL) and JDBC.
• Understanding at least one front-end technology such as ReactJS, etc. is a plus.
• Experience in working with Linux environment.
• Experience with NoSQL, NewSQL, and distributed messaging systems: Redis, Kafka, MongoDB..
• Experience with gRPC
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline, docker, Kubernetes
• Strong experience in Git source control, Git Flow branching model
• It’s a big plus if the developer has experience in the financial
