Cloud Services, Solutions Consultant (22-PRC-1228)

VNG Cloud is a leading Cloud Service Provider in Vietnam and we aim to provide Vietnamese enterprises with cloud infrastructure products based on more than 15 years of experience building the products and serving large-scale systems within VNG itself. Solution Consultants are critical roles in helping customers to adopt our cloud infrastructure products to run their business applications while adhering to architecture best practices and product capabilities. We are looking for curious, open-minded team member to come build a cloud business together with us.

• You will collaborate with customers and other VNG Cloud teams to demonstrate our products, run proof of concepts when necessary, and create architecture proposals that satisfy customer's business and technical requirements.
• You will work closely with sales in pursuing and advancing sales opportunities and are expected to actively leading technical engagements and handle competitive objections.
• You will consult customers on the system migration strategy for use cases such as on-prem systems to VNG Cloud, systems on other cloud vendors to VNG Cloud by engaging highly technical teams within VNG Cloud (other Solution Consultants, Technical Operations, Product Management).
• You will provide customer feedbacks directly to Product Management and other internal teams so that we can improve our products and services to better serve customers.
• You will speak at customer events or conferences when needed.

Yêu cầu

• Technical Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both business and technical audiences
• Deep understanding of Cloud Infrastructure such as virtual compute, object/block/file storage, network/VPC, load balancing, and their business drivers
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication
• 5+ years of success in consultative/technical sales or deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects)
• 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in “migrating” on premise workloads to the cloud
• Deep technical experience in one or more of the following areas: Virtualization (VMware/KVM/OpenStack), Networking, Storage, Systems Operations/Management, IT Security, Business Applications such as Database, ERP, or specialized applications for industry verticals such as Retails, Media & Gaming, Healthcare, Manufacturing.
• Prior work experience in a position within System Integration or end customer consuming IaaS products from AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud providers)
• Fluently in English
