VNG Tech Fresher is the largest annual recruitment and training program for young tech talents, aiming at senior students with technological major. 

After many recruiting seasons, VNG Tech Fresher has gradually become an ideal career goal for fresh grads. In 2021, VNG Tech Freshers received up to 1600 applications and welcomed 50 freshers joining the company after three rounds of challenge.

Q: How did your journey to VNG Tech Fresher begin?
 
Van Dung: It came at the right time when I was looking for an internship opportunity and VNG caught my attention. At that time, I also received many bits of advice from seniors about VNG's strict recruitment process as they maintain their standard of being the leading technology company in Vietnam. At first, I was hesitant, but after some second thoughts, I believe that if I don't dare move forward, I will never gain any knowledge and great experiences. In the end, I managed to reach the Top 50 and became a Fresher until now!

I want to encourage my friends to take a deep breath, move forward with their instinct, and be brave with their decisions. VNG Tech Freshers will bring you either great opportunities or great lessons.

 

Q: What do you think about working at VNG?

Chi Cuong: Becoming a fresher at VNG is both challenging and interesting. Through the challenges, I learned different techniques and methods to solve a problem. Above all, I became more passionate about my job, got rid of the stigma toward "coder" and believed in the mission of building technology products that can improve our life.

Q: What are your experiences when join VNG Tech Fresher?

Phuc Hung: The most impressive thing is that I can directly participate in real projects with other senior team members – who have already owned quite a lot of experience in the industry. After joining VTF, I have never been limited to a specific field. The leaders created several opportunities for me to get my hands on different tasks to unleash my passion and explore my full potential.
