VNG shares the passion of investing in young generations with educational institutions

03:08 PM | 12/04/2022

To fulfill the goal of “Growing People” set in our mission, VNG has strengthened our relationships with educational institutions in Vietnam and overseas to enhance academic study and training for students.

Officially signed memorandum of understanding with universities in Vietnam

VNG has officially established long-lasting partnerships with major universities in Vietnam by signing a memorandum of understanding documents (MOUs). The cooperation between VNG and top universities reaffirmed their shared goal of improving the quality of training and teaching, providing apprenticeship and technical field trips for students to actualize their perceived knowledge.

Until now, VNG has cooperated with major universities such as the University of Science and Technology - VNU - HCM, Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City, and Fulbright University Vietnam, with many other universities promising to be onboard.

This partnership marks VNG’s efforts in assisting educational organizations in growing the young generation.

Empowering educational institutions and student clubs in social activities

VNG regularly participates in student events organized within the country and overseas. In 2020 and 2021, VNG has sponsored more than 20 events and contests for students such as Z Marketer, GameUIT Hackathon 2021, Marketing On Air,... with the aim of creating learning and competing platforms, sharing experiences, and gaining perspectives.

Embracing Challenge- themed activities for young generations

Besides awarding annual scholarships and tuition grants for students over the years, during the national lockdown in June 2021, VNG actively coordinated with universities and colleges to support students struggling with difficulties caused by the pandemic.

Moreover, VNG organized an online panel discussion session named “VNG 17h Sharing” with 9 different topics, creating a place for exchanging ideas between students and guest speakers, and encouraging continuous learning and self-development.

As Vietnam is now in the new normal, VNG will continue to deploy various programs aiming to diversify student engagement activities.

  • VNG Campus tour - a half-day field trip to VNG campus for students to explore the facilities and technology at VNG campus and learn about the professional world from VNG's experts
  • Code Tour - a platform to connect young people who are passionate about programming and technology
  • Zét-nology - a series of activities aimed at exploring the connection between Gen Z and the technology world.
