Job description

We are looking for a Senior QA/QC to ensure the quality and stability of our Roblox experience. In this role, you will take ownership of testing strategy and execution, working closely with developers and product designers to deliver a smooth, scalable, and engaging player experience in a fast-paced live environment.

Responsibilities:

Own the overall quality of Roblox game features across gameplay, UI/ UX, progression, and monetization
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for new features and live updates
Identify, reproduce, and clearly report bugs; drive issues to resolution with dev/design teams
Perform in-depth regression testing to ensure stability after frequent updates (live-ops, events, patches)
Test and validate multiplayer systems (sync, latency, interactions, edge cases)
Monitor and evaluate game performance across devices (PC, mobile), including FPS, memory, and loading
Proactively identify risks, edge cases, and potential player-facing issues before release
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and development efficiency
Contribute to improving QA processes, workflows, and testing standards
Lead and mentor QA/ QC members, assign tasks, and ensure quality standards across multiple games

Requirement

2+ years of experience in QA/ QC for games or software, with a strong ownership mindset
Solid understanding of QA methodologies: test design, bug lifecycle, regression, and risk-based testing
Experience testing live service (SaaS or GaaS)
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail; able to break down complex systems
Excellent bug reporting and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, frequently updated environment

Nice to have:

Experience with Roblox platform or similar UGC platforms
Basic knowledge of Lua scripting or game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.
Understanding of game systems (economy, retention, player behavior) Experience with QA tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
