About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer to join our IT team on a 3-month project assignment. You will collaborate with senior engineers to deliver two strategic initiatives: a Huawei Enterprise WiFi POC and a network infrastructure upgrade for building management systems, including cameras, access control, and related services. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in enterprise network implementation and operations.

Project 2: Building Management Network Infrastructure Upgrade
General Responsibilities
We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer to join our IT team on a 3-month project assignment. You will collaborate with senior engineers to deliver two strategic initiatives: a Huawei Enterprise WiFi POC and a network infrastructure upgrade for building management systems, including cameras, access control, and related services. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in enterprise network implementation and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project 1: Enterprise WiFi Proof of Concept (Huawei)
- Collaborate with senior network engineers to evaluate and validate Huawei Enterprise WiFi solutions.
- Assist in WiFi site surveys, deployment, configuration, and testing activities.
- Perform wireless performance validation and troubleshooting.
- Document test results, findings, and recommendations.
- Participate in proof-of-concept demonstrations and user acceptance activities.
Project 2: Building Management Network Infrastructure Upgrade
- Support the upgrade of network infrastructure serving building management systems.
- Assist in implementing connectivity for IP cameras (CCTV), access control systems, and IoT/building automation devices.
- Participate in network migration, testing, and performance verification.
- Help ensure network reliability, security, and availability for critical building services.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and implementation records.
General Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Follow company standards, operational procedures, and security best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.
- Learn enterprise networking technologies and operational practices through hands-on project experience.
Requirement
Education
- Bachelor's degree or final-year student in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing and Switching fundamentals, and Enterprise WiFi concepts.
- Familiarity with network monitoring or troubleshooting tools is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and documentation quality
