Job description

The Legal Intern will join VNG Group’s Legal & Compliance (“Group L&C”) and support the team in day-to-day legal operations, legal research, corporate and investment matters, and other legal assignments relating to VNG Group and its subsidiaries. This position provides an opportunity to gain practical in-house legal experience and exposure to a wide range of legal and regulatory matters within a technology group.

Job Description:
  • Support the execution and stamping of documents for VNG Group and its subsidiaries, including checking required information and approvals and maintaining proper records of processed documents.
  • Assist in receiving, tracking and responding to requests for legal information and documents relating to VNG Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and support the preparation of the monthly legal update for the Group L&C.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare initial drafts of legal memoranda on assigned legal and regulatory matters.
  • Assist in drafting and preparing corporate and investment-related legal documents and filings, including resolutions, decisions, powers of attorney, corporate/investment registration documents, official letters and other submissions to competent authorities.
  • Support document translation, notarization/certification, legal document management and other legal or administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirement

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Law, preferably in the 2nd or 3rd year.
  • Good command of English and basic legal research and drafting skills.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to support legal research, drafting and daily work, with appropriate verification and confidentiality awareness.
  • Able to maintain a stable working schedule and long-term commitment; prior legal internship experience is an advantage.
