Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, Zalopay
Job description
We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to
join our User Growth team and play a key role in driving data-informed growth
decisions for our e-wallet platform.
This role goes beyond traditional reporting and data
analysis. You will work closely with Growth, Product, Technology, Data team and
other stakeholders to understand user behavior, identify growth opportunities,
evaluate initiatives, and translate data into actionable business strategies.
You will also take ownership of cross-functional analytical
projects, including A/B testing, new product launches, advertising event
tracking, and analytics infrastructure development, helping establish a strong
data foundation for future Growth, CRM, and AI-driven initiatives.
We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities, structured problem-solving, business acumen, and a proactive ownership mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Growth Analytics & Experimentation
User
Behavior & Growth Analytics
- Conduct
in-depth analysis of user acquisition, activation, retention, conversion,
and engagement to identify behavioral patterns, growth opportunities, and
potential business risks.
- Perform
cohort analysis, user segmentation, funnel analysis, and retention studies
to understand user lifecycle and drivers of business performance.
- Translate
business questions into structured analytical hypotheses, analytical
approaches, and actionable insights.
- Evaluate
the performance and effectiveness of Growth, CRM, promotion, and product
initiatives, providing recommendations to optimize business outcomes.
A/B
Testing & Experimentation
- Partner
with Growth and Product teams to identify opportunities for
experimentation and design data-driven solutions.
- Independently
design and manage A/B tests, including hypothesis formulation, test
design, primary metrics, guardrail metrics, sample size considerations,
and success criteria.
- Analyze
experiment results, support stakeholders in making decisions on whether to
scale, iterate, or discontinue initiatives based on experimental evidence.
Business
Partnership & Project Ownership
- Work
closely with Growth and Product teams to understand business priorities
and translate them into analytical roadmaps.
- Independently
own analytical projects end-to-end, from problem framing and data
exploration to analysis, experimentation, conclusion, and recommendation.
- Proactively
identify business opportunities and performance gaps rather than relying
solely on ad-hoc requests.
- Present
analytical findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders,
influencing decisions through data and structured reasoning.
2.
Analytics Foundation & Future Initiatives
Data
Tracking & Analytics Infrastructure
- Own
and drive initiatives related to advertising event tracking, event
centralization, and data quality improvement.
- Collaborate
with Product, Technology, Growth, and Data teams to define tracking requirements,
align data specifications, and resolve data discrepancies.
- Ensure
reliable, consistent, and actionable data is available for performance
measurement, user behavior analysis, and campaign optimization.
- Identify
gaps in existing tracking and analytics infrastructure and proactively
drive solutions through to completion.
Scalable
Analytics & Advanced Use Cases
- Build reusable datasets,
analytical frameworks, and measurement methodologies to support future
Growth/CRM initiatives; and self-service analytics capabilities across the
team.

Ad-hoc and support daily/weekly request from User Growth team

Must-have
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant
experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Product Analytics,
Growth Analytics, or a related field (excluding internships).
- Strong SQL skills with the
ability to independently extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
- Having knowledge in relation to
Python for data analysis and statistical analysis.
- Understanding analytical
methodologies, including funnel analysis, cohort analysis, segmentation,
retention analysis, and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with BI and data
visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong business acumen,
structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex
data into clear business insights.
- Good communication and
presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ownership of
analytical projects and ability to manage multiple priorities
independently.
Nice-to-have
Qualifications
- Experience in fintech,
e-wallets, mobile applications, digital products, or consumer-facing
platforms.
- Familiarity with product
analytics and marketing measurement tools such as Firebase, GA4,
AppsFlyer, or similar platforms.
- Experience with data tracking
implementation, event taxonomy, data pipelines, or data quality
management.
- Practical knowledge of A/B
testing, experimental design, statistical significance, and incremental
impact measurement.
- Exposure to machine learning,
predictive modeling, behavioral segmentation, recommendation systems, or
AI-driven analytics.
- Experience working in an Agile
or cross-functional product development environment.
