Launched in May 2022 with a new format, Code Tour attracted more than 6000 registrations through 8 monthly online programming challenges. The final round named Code Tour Summit was successfully held at VNG Campus on December 26 with a resounding victory of the winner.

 

Build a quality platform to develop the programming mindset of Vietnamese young talents

 

 

Formerly a unique coding contest organized by VNG in 2018, Code Tour has now developed as a platform to connect young talents passionate about programming and not afraid of challenges in Vietnam and other countries in the world through various formats of monthly coding contests.

 

Representative of the Code Tour Organization Team, Mrs. Tran Xuan Ngoc Thao said: "Developed by VNG during the last 4 years, Code Tour has delivered the mission "Build Technologies and Grow People. From Vietnam to the World" closer to young people. By participating in Code Challenges, coders are living with the spirit of "Embracing Challenges" of VNG, as well as learning more about the technology world to grow themself.”

 

Code Tour 2022 has attracted over 6000 registrations from 51 provinces in Vietnam and other countries worldwide. Through 8 online Code Challenges with the participation of 3,688 young talents who are passionate about programming, they were experienced with high-quality exams, networking activities and updated recent technological trends from everywhere.

 

At the final round of Code Tour 2022, the Top 30 Finalists living around Vietnam were sponsored with 100% of the participation cost to reunite at VNG Campus. Code Tour Summit 2022 is not only a milestone marking the finding of a Winner but also an opportunity for young tech talents to meet, interact and connect with technology experts from VNG.

 

Do Dinh Dac - The Winner of Code Tour 2022 said: “With code challenges being held on Saturday, Code Tour allows me to practice coding and develop algorithms thinking better. I hope that the programming competition as Code Tour will grow in popularity so that I can advance my algorithms thinking and connect with other young talents.”

 

Grow core competencies and contribute to the future tech talents pool

Algorithms is the foundation that programmers need to build firmly to keep up with all the latest technology trends. For 4 years, Code Tour has strived to develop a platform to nurture the passion for programming through tests, exercises, and networking with the tech-loving community. With the support from VNG and Academic partner - Big-O Coding, the tests are carefully prepared to match the competition's criteria and be able to filter out qualified candidates. Contestants of the Code Tour are becoming more competent.
