2 weeks, 1,720 students, 11 universities, and 28 top experts are the impressive numbers of VUW - the student connection week and work environment experience at VNG Campus. This event provided an opportunity for young people to explore the real work environment through meaningful activities, including workplace tours, expert meet-ups, and interactive game experiences. 

 

One notable part of the program was the sharing sessions featuring 28 VNG experts, many of whom are alumni of participating universities. These sessions offered students insights into career development through personal stories and practical advice. Discussions included industry trends such as cybersecurity challenges, the growing importance of data, career orientation for IT students, and opportunities in marketing.

 

 

The program left a good impression on participating students. Minh Nhật, a student from the University of Science, VNU-HCM, shared that before visiting VNG, he imagined IT workplaces to be rigid and monotonous. "This visit changed my perspective. The environment here feels creative and full of energy", he said.

 

Similarly, Yên Đan, a student from the University of Economics, HCMC, expressed surprise at VNG’s range of products, including digital transformation solutions for businesses. She noted that the collaborative and positive work culture at VNG inspires confidence and personal growth.

 

 

Educators also appreciated the program. Thầy Nguyễn Khánh Thuật, a lecturer at the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM, commended VNG’s efforts in providing students with valuable practical experiences. "The collaboration between universities and businesses creates deeper connections, helping universities update and refine training programs to align with real-world industry demands. This, in turn, enables students to seize career opportunities that match their skills," he shared.
