Job description
VNGGames publishes a portfolio of mobile games on the Apple App Store, Google Play and other platforms. We are looking for an Operations Executive to run the day-to-day store operations of our app and game products, and to act as our operational point of contact with the Business Development teams of our Platform Partners – Apple, Google and Meta (Facebook).
You will work closely with our Game Studios to get their apps created, submitted, released and kept compliant on every store. When an issue needs platform support, you make sure it is raised, followed up and resolved on time – so that no delay on our side leads to app removal, launch delays or update setbacks.
Store Management:
- Run daily store operations for VNGGames app/game products on App Store Connect, Google Play Console and other platforms: app creation, test builds, submissions, release management and account permissions.
- Support Game Studios in resolving store-related issues (e.g. review rejections, policy violations, release blockers) with practical, timely solutions.
- Build and maintain processes, checklists and guidelines that help non-specialist users handle store operations correctly.
- Monitor changes in platform requirements, policies and best practices, and communicate relevant updates to Game Studios and internal teams in a timely manner.
Business Development Operations (BD Ops):
- Act as the operational point of contact with the Business Development teams of Apple, Google and Meta (Facebook) for all VNGGames app/game products.
- Promptly escalate every issue that requires platform BD support – policy questions, review rejections, new feature implementations and other app-related concerns – and follow up until each case is resolved.
- Organize and facilitate online and offline meetings with platform partners to resolve issues and follow up on requests and escalations.
- Track all cases raised to platform BD, inform Game Studios of the outcomes, and keep the weekly Store Management report up to date.
- Work with the Store, Product and BD teams to keep processes up to date, provide answers and raise concerns when needed.
Other
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirement
Must-have
- 1 - 2 years of experience in operations, project coordination or partner/account management. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
- Professional English (written and spoken): able to independently write partner emails and run calls and meetings with Apple, Google and Meta representatives.
- Strong attention to detail when handling store submissions, metadata and policy checklists – small mistakes here lead to rejections or delays.
- Structured follow-up: able to track many open cases across multiple stakeholders and drive each one to closure on deadline.
- Able to turn complex platform policies into simple processes and checklists for non-specialist users.
- Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel for tracking and reporting.
- Available for occasional evening/weekend work during game launches, urgent store issues, or meetings with partners in other time zones.
- Hands-on experience with Appstore Connect, Google Play Console or Meta for Developers; familiarity with the Appstore Review Guidelines and Google Play Developer Policy.
- Experience working directly with external partners or platform representatives.
- Background in mobile gaming or app publishing, and a passion for games.
- Degree in Business, Foreign Languages, IT or a related field.
- Ownership: you follow up without being chased and always close the loop.
- Calm and persistent: you stay composed and keep pushing when handling tough cases and rejections.
- Service mindset: Game Studios see you as a partner who helps them ship, not a gatekeeper.
- Continuous learner: platform policies change often, and you enjoy keeping up with them.
