VNG Group is looking for a Legal Specialist to join the Group Legal & Compliance team.

This role will serve as a legal business partner supporting key technology business lines within VNG Group, including AI, cloud computing infrastructure, data centers, GPU cloud, enterprise technology solutions, and related digital services.

As a member of the Group Legal & Compliance team, the person in this role will work closely with business, product, engineering, information security, finance, and operations teams. The scope of work covers commercial contracts, legal advisory, regulatory compliance, personal data protection, intellectual property, export control, and other legal matters arising from technology business operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents supporting business operations, including customer agreements, service contracts, purchase orders, terms of service, NDAs, data processing agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, technology license agreements, and other commercial documents.
  • Provide legal advice to business, product, engineering, sales, finance, information security, and operations teams on issues arising from day-to-day activities and broader business operations.
  • Support legal and compliance matters, including licenses, approvals, certifications, registrations, incentive filings, periodic reports, and engagement with relevant government authorities.
  • Monitor and research applicable laws and regulations, assess legal impact on business operations, and provide practical recommendations.
  • Advise on intellectual property matters, with a focus on ownership, licensing, commercialization, and IP asset structuring related to technology in Vietnam and internationally.
  • Support the DPO and relevant stakeholders in complying with personal data protection regulations, including data processing agreements, privacy terms, cross-border data transfers, and related compliance documentation.
  • Participate in legal and compliance projects, template and policy development, training initiatives, and other assignments as directed by direct management.

Yêu cầu

  • Bachelor's degree in Law. A lawyer's practicing certificate is a plus.
  • At least 05 years of legal advisory experience.
  • Proficient in English, including both written and verbal communication.
  • Preferred background in technology companies, cloud services, data centers, AI, software, SaaS, IT services, telecommunications, cybersecurity, or digital business.
  • Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Sound knowledge of commercial law, technology contracts, personal data protection, intellectual property, and compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management, project management, and task-tracking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, and a business-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in or aptitude for team management is a plus.
