We are seeking a skilled and proactive Site Reliability Engineer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and automating system operations, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for high-traffic applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including SRE of ZaloPay, Developers, and Data teams, to streamline deployment processes and enhance system security and monitoring.

  • Proficient in Operating Systems, Software Architecture, Monitoring, and Network Protocols with familiarity with microservices architecture
  • Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
  • Experience working with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD & GitOps tools, including ArgoCD, Jenkins, and GitOps best practices.
  • Have intermediate knowledge of modern architecture-related software such as service mesh, API Gateway, reverse proxy, and service proxy for cloud-native applications.
  • Have general knowledge in all and deep knowledge in at least one of the following: Nginx, HAProxy in terms of usage.
  • Solid experience in managing databases, including NoSQL solutions.
  • Experience in the financial field is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
