Get to know Our Team:
Being one of the most dynamic teams in Zalopay, our mission is to promote a cashless Vietnam with a focus on some of the top daily user scenarios. We manage the entire growth funnel end-to-end, from developing strategic partnership, understanding user insights, driving product initiatives and go-to-market execution.
Building on our domestic success, we’re now going global with cross-border initiatives that enable cashless usage for Vietnamese users when travelling aboard, and for international visitors when they come to Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Operations
- Play as the Cross-border business lead, taking full ownership of business performance, operational execution, KPIs, and growth initiatives.
- Analyze market dynamics, identify potential partners (International payment network, PSPs, E-wallets, etc...) and lay out an expansion strategy for Zalopay, both inbound and outbound flow.
- Act as a partner-facing PIC, develop a strong understanding of the partner’s needs and Zalopay’s capabilities to craft tailored proposals that unlock potential partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams (Bank Partnership, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Product) to manage the end-to-end partner onboarding process, including due diligence, legal contracting, and technical integration. Ensure smooth and win-win alignments when negotiating commercial and terms.
- Manage ongoing relationships and coordination with partners, proactively propose joint business plans that drive mutual growth and benefits of both sides. Stay on top of other operational matters including issue resolution, partners’ queries, and reporting to C-level.
- Collaborate with Growth Marketing, Product and Merchant team to design and execute GTM (Go-to-Market) plans that help to accelerate user adoption of the product.
- Explore and build collaborative initiatives with third-party accelerators (e.g., travel agencies, Tourism boards, OTA platforms, etc.) to drive product adoption among overseas users and Vietnamese travelers.
- Act as the key liaison for internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring seamless execution of joint campaigns, product rollouts, and partnership initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (User, TPV, Success Rate), and proactively propose action plans to optimize results. Conduct user behavior research to identify frictions in the product that disrupt the experience and work with Product team to develop enhancement plans
Yêu cầu
- A versatile, generalist mindset. We are looking for a candidate that can wear many hats of the business and is willing to go above and beyond to deliver excellent results.
- 3-5+ years of experience in business development, growth strategy, project management or international market expansion ideally in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or travel-tech
- Proven track record of driving successful strategic partnership, or consulting clients for business growth
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; capable of managing complex documentation, contracts, and multi-party communications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Vietnamese and English, be able to communicate effectively with partners from different countries
- Self-motivated and forward-thinking, employing proactive strategies in relationship-building and problem-solving
- Strong collaboration mindset, with the ability to navigate and align cross-functional teams.
- Enjoy a startup-style environment, comfortable with fast pace, changing demands, and limited resources
- Having a decent knowledge of international payment networks or e-wallet ecosystems is a big plus.
- Result-oriented, Resilient and demonstrates a strong can-do attitude.
