Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Analyst with a primary focus on Financial and HR data analytics. This role is critical in strengthening business operations through accurate data reporting, applied analytical techniques, and actionable insights that support FP&A and HR strategic decision-making. The position also provides opportunities to expand into AI/ML modeling and advanced analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and analyze data to support reporting, monitoring, and advanced analytical needs.

- Apply statistical and analytical techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, A/B testing, forecasting, segmentation, impact analysis) to derive insights and recommendations.

- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualization tools to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

- Review and enhance data sources, data models, metrics, and documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

- Identify opportunities to automate workflows, optimize processes, and improve analytical capabilities.

- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand problems, translate requirements, and communicate insights to support decision-making.

- Explore and apply AI/ML-driven approaches to improve analytical models and predictive capabilities.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, with a proven track record in exploratory data analysis and advanced analytics.

Technical Skills:

- Strong SQL skills, including working with large datasets and optimizing complex queries.

- Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and basic modeling.

- Experience with BI & data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or Looker.

- Understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL processes, and workflow automation.

- Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (Excel / Google Sheets) and functions for analytical work.

Analytical Skills:

- Ability to analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, drivers, and actionable insights.

- Solid foundation in statistical analysis (hypothesis testing, regression, A/B testing).

- Experience designing and evaluating impact analysis or supporting business experiments.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into analytical requirements.

Soft Skills:

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including presenting insights to non-technical audiences.

- Clear communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical audiences.

- Strong collaboration skills when working with cross-functional stakeholders (FP&A, HR, Product, Engineering).

- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with Financial or HR datasets is a strong advantage.

- Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or workforce analytics.

- Knowledge of big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

- Exposure to AI/ML applications such as forecasting, anomaly detection, or classification is a plus.
