Senior Lead Software Engineer - VNGGames

The Senior Lead Software Engineer in GDS is responsible for software development of all data products in VNGGAMES Data Portals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Drive the design and development of scalable and reliable data portal apps with industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, provide guidance on developing solutions to technical challenges, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.
• Provide technical leadership in the evaluation and adoption of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
• Establish standard for coding, assessment standard for security, unit testing, version control, and configuration management

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a software architecture role.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing development teams across backend, frontend, and DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks relevant to backend and frontend development.
• Ability to create clear and comprehensive technical material
