Job description:
  • Lead and mentor a team of testers allocated to a client-funded or research & development project.
  • Manage the testing effort and/or team to plan, construct and execute release tests.
  • Apply testing methodologies, theories and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
  • Apply business and functional knowledge to meet the teams' overall test purposes.
  • Identify test improvement opportunities within the existing systems and associated processes, test procedures and methods.
  • Ensure defects are entered correctly, controlled and managed as effectively as possible through the development and defect life cycle.
  • Accountable for an end-to-end view of testing activities, risks and issues, scope, and coverage
  • Implement automation and regression testing as required.
  • Ensure adherence to testing methodologies and QC principles set across the organization, achieved through the usage of manual and automated testing tools for the consistent delivery of quality software.
  • Identify and recommend areas for improvement in the testing and development activities. 

Yêu cầu

  • At least 7 years testing experience with at least 5 years in a test lead role
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies and testing techniques
  • Experience in black & white box testing techniques
  • Knowledge of automated testing technologies, testing frameworks and best practices
  • Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a clear thought process
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and unambiguous manner
  • Good understanding of defect tracking process
  • Ability to listen to others well and to be able to draw out missing information
  • Ability to work in a team environment and attention to detail
  • Must have good interpersonal, problem-solving, scheduling, and organizational skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in an IT-related degree
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL
